This course is designed to be "macroeconomics for agricultural economists (applied microeconomists)." Students interested in learning macroeconomics in a more comprehensive or traditional way are encouraged to consult with the instructor for potential alternative courses.
The course covers some of the essential topics in macroeconomics: national income, monetary system, trade and exchange rates, labor market, economic growth, business cycle, and goods & money market (IS-LM). |

(1) Understand the concepts, issues, and tools in macroeconomics that are necessary for applied microeconomists.
